How does the Buoy Zone integration work?

Our Buoy Zone integration works in two ways:

Option 1 is for the email address of you Buoy Zone app to match with your MarkSetBot email address.If it isn't the same, you can add an extra user to your MarkSetBot organization with the same email address as Buoy Zone. 

Option 2 is to tie the Buoy Zone CourseId to the MarkSetBot app via Menu > Configure Bots and Users.  The dropdown is auto populated based on courses that are near you.  There is a screenshot at the bottom of this article.  When you use this option, the locations of the Bots will also sync back to Buoy Zone

To push waypoints from Buoy Zone, you then select "Sync to MarkSetBot" and "Shared with club" in Advanced options of Buoy Zone.  That will add purple waypoints into the MSB app.  

If you use the last option in our layout screen called Waypoint Matchup and also enable Auto Pin Bots, you can get the orange dots to jump to the waypoints.  The names must match up.  These settings persist and don't need to be set after the first time.
